Revolution comes to Middlebury College
Revolution, an ever-evolving anthology piece central to BRTW’s Commission series, comes to the stage at Middlebury College in April, 2016. Revolution examines the course of a violent attempt at racial freedom.
Current events and pop culture are on a collision course with a not-too-distant and eerily familiar dystopian future. Revolution reveals fractioning communities grappling with war, media, and identity. In a series of powerful vignettes, we see cops, activists, hoteps, and soldiers navigating the the dynamics of oppression, revealing lives lost and abandoned on the road to freedom.
